Camp Good Days and Special Times, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children, adults and families whose lives have been touched by cancer and other life threatening challenges, was founded by Gary Mervis in 1979. Mercy Flight Central was founded in 1992. The Mercy Flight Central mission is to provide the highest level of critical care to injured or critically ill patients, regardless of ability to pay. Helicopter transport is provided throughout New York within a 120 mile radius of bases in Canandaigua, Marcellus and Rome.

Hospeace House, Inc. in Naples, NY serves as a two-bed comfort care home staffed primarily by volunteers, all of whom work collaboratively to support the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of each resident. Thanks to the Ontario County Weights & Measures and Rochester Scale Works for their support. Many thanks to Sutton Co. of Naples, NY for their continued support by donating gift certificates for the random drawings. A $50.00 gift certificate will be awarded on a random basis at the close of each weigh station both Saturday 6/8 and Sunday 6/9 from all derby registrations. In an effort to support catch & release, all registered fishermen/women will automatically be eligible to win, without being required to bring in a fish. Need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by mail.
